Terms of Service

These Terms govern all services provided by Redline Web Studio, operated by Hugo Jimenez Jr. ("we", "us"), to you ("Client"). By paying a deposit, signing a quote, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide website design and development, graphic design, branding, and ongoing website maintenance. The exact scope, deliverables and timeline for each project are set out in a written quote or invoice. Work outside that scope is billed separately.

2. Payment

• Projects are billed as a flat fee. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due before work begins; the balance is due before launch or final file delivery.
• Maintenance plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Invoices unpaid 14 days past due may result in paused work or a suspended website until paid.

3. Revisions

Each project includes the number of revision rounds stated in the quote. Additional revisions are billed at our current hourly rate.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide content, feedback and approvals on time. You confirm you own or have permission to use all text, images, logos and other materials you send us, and you agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from those materials.

5. Ownership

Once paid in full, you own the final approved designs and website content created for you. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, code and templates, and grant you a license to use them as part of your project. We may display your project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.

6. Hosting, Domains & Maintenance

If you're on a maintenance plan, we manage hosting and domain renewal on your behalf. If the plan is cancelled or unpaid, we are not responsible for downtime, expired domains or lost data. On request and once your account is paid up, we'll transfer your domain and site files to you.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

Either party may end a project with written notice. Deposits are non-refundable; you'll pay for work completed up to the cancellation date. Maintenance plans can be cancelled anytime and stop at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds.

8. No Guarantees

We work hard to make your site look great and perform well, but we don't guarantee specific results such as search rankings, traffic or sales. Third-party services (hosting, domain registrars, plugins, payment processors) are outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or lost-profit damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion, then in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version in effect when you sign a quote applies to that project.
